Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent:

  • 45+ days before the trip start date: 95% refund of the total trip cost.
  • 30–44 days before the trip start date: 75% refund of the total trip cost.
  • 15–29 days before the trip start date: 50% refund of the total trip cost.
  • 8–14 days before the trip start date: 25% refund of the total trip cost.
  • 7 days or less before the trip start date: No refund.

For group trips, if you find a replacement for yourself, we will provide a 100% refund.

For tailored trips, we will liaise with our partners to secure the best possible refund or credit voucher, though we cannot guarantee a full refund.

Third-Party Sharing:

We may share your information with trusted partners (e.g., accommodations, guides) solely for the purpose of facilitating your trip. We do not sell your data to third parties.

  • Bookings: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Full payment is required to secure your reservation.
  • Travel Documents: You are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, including visas and permits.
  • Health & Safety: Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions in advance.
  • Liability: Tales of Northeast is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the trip, except where required by law.
  • Conduct: We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive or harmful to the group.
  • Changes to Itinerary: We may modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, political unrest) to ensure safety and quality of experience.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam.
