We do not sell or share guest data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cancellation Policy
All bookings with Tales of Northeast are subject to the following terms:
A non refundable booking amount of 5% of the total journey cost is charged at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.
If cancellation is made:
More than 30 days prior to departure
75% of the total journey cost will be refunded
15 to 30 days prior to departure
50% of the total journey cost will be refunded
Less than 15 days prior to departure
No refund will be applicable
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7 to 10 working days.
Please note that journeys conducted in remote regions may be affected by road conditions, weather changes or community schedules. In such situations, Tales of Northeast reserves the right to modify or adapt activities in consultation with local hosts.
Terms and Conditions
Journeys offered by Tales of Northeast are conducted in partnership with local communities and are based in family owned homestays rather than commercial hotels or resorts.
Accommodation during the journey is arranged within lived in homes and shared spaces. Facilities, layout and amenities may differ from urban lodging environments and reflect local building practices and availability of resources.
Activities such as walks, farm visits, forest trails, wildlife interaction or participation in local events are facilitated by community hosts and remain dependent on weather conditions, seasonal accessibility and household availability.
Participation in festivals or village gatherings cannot be guaranteed and will vary across journeys.
Tales of Northeast facilitates access to local hosts and experiences but does not directly own or operate homestays or community led activities.
Guests are required to carry valid identification documents and permits necessary for travel into restricted or protected areas where applicable.
Guests are expected to respect local customs, environmental guidelines and community norms throughout their stay.
Any behaviour that is perceived as disrespectful, aggressive or disruptive to local hosts, guides or community members may result in removal from the journey without refund at the discretion of Tales of Northeast and local partners.
Any damage caused to accommodation, equipment or community property during the journey must be compensated by the guest.
Tales of Northeast cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations or modifications caused by weather disruptions, road accessibility, political unrest or other unforeseen circumstances beyond operational control.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
We request guests to inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions or medical conditions prior to arrival.
By confirming a booking with Tales of Northeast, all guests agree to the above terms and conditions.
